Accepted Answer

Yes. KK Dog Grooming offers a Puppy's First Spa Experience for dogs from 8 weeks old. The session costs £30 for XS and small puppies, and £50 for medium and large breeds. Kristine takes a calm, unhurried approach so your puppy builds a positive relationship with grooming from day one.

Question 3

Do you offer hand stripping in Milton Keynes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Kristine is an experienced hand stripper for wire-coated breeds including terriers, spaniels and schnauzers. Hand stripping costs £40 per hour. Her background as a competitive show dog handler means she understands exactly how to preserve breed-standard coat texture and colour.

Question 4

How often should I get my dog groomed?

Accepted Answer

Long-coated and double-coated dogs need a maintenance bath and brush every 3 to 4 weeks and a full groom every 6 to 8 weeks. Short-coated breeds typically need a full groom every 8 to 12 weeks. Kristine gives every owner a personal recommendation at their first appointment based on their dog's specific coat and lifestyle.

Question 5

Do you groom anxious or nervous dogs?

Accepted Answer

Yes. KK Dog Grooming works with one dog at a time, by appointment only, in a quiet salon with no background kennelling noise. Kristine reads every dog's body language carefully and paces each groom to the dog's comfort level. Many regular clients previously struggled to find a groomer who could handle their nervous dogs.
